About Media Filtration Systems
Media Filtration Systems
Optima Water manufacture and supply following different type of Media Filtration Systems:
- Pressure Sand Filter
- Activated Carbon Filter
PRESSURE SAND FILTER
We manufacture and supply Pressure Sand Filter. Sand filters are used to remove suspended solids and turbidity from the service water. If the turbidity of the service water is greater than 1 NTU, a media filter is needed. The media filter is generally located at or near the upstream of the water treatment system, to protect downstream equipment from the suspended solids. Material of construction for Pressure vessel is MS, SS, and FRP.
ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER
We manufacture and supply Activated Carbon Filter. Activated Carbon Filtration is the process of removing free Chlorine Organic Matter, Suspended particles from water both course as well as colloidal, adsorbing undesired odor, colors etc. Activated carbon is a carbonaceous adsorbent with a high internal porosity, and hence a large internal surface area. Activated carbon is usually derived from charcoal or coconut shell. Material of construction for Filter vessel is MS, SS, and FRP.
Efficient Electric-Driven FiltrationWith electric drive mechanisms, media filtration systems guarantee consistent and automated filtration, reducing manual intervention and operational errors. The electrically powered operation supports steady performance, making them well-suited for large-scale filtration tasks across various industries in India.
Optimized for Indian Industry NeedsManufactured, supplied, and serviced by leading Indian providers, these media filtration systems are tailored to meet the specific requirements of Indian industrial processes. They combine robust construction with energy-efficient operation, delivering reliability in local conditions.
FAQ's of Media Filtration Systems:
Q: How does an electric-driven media filtration system work?
A: An electric-driven media filtration system uses electric motors to automate water flow through filter media, efficiently removing suspended particles and contaminants from water or process fluids with minimal manual monitoring.
Q: What applications are these electric media filtration systems suitable for?
A: These systems are ideal for industrial and commercial water treatment, wastewater management, cooling towers, and process industries where continuous and reliable filtration is essential.
Q: When should I consider installing an electric media filtration system?
A: Installation is recommended when you require consistent, automated filtration with minimal manual oversight, particularly in high-volume or critical water treatment processes.
Q: Where can I find manufacturers, service providers, or suppliers of these systems in India?
A: Reputable manufacturers, service providers, and suppliers for electric-driven media filtration systems are widely available across India, catering to different industrial sectors with tailored solutions.
Q: What benefits do electric-powered media filtration systems offer over manual or non-electric options?
A: Electric systems provide continuous operation, reduced maintenance, better process control, and higher reliability, resulting in improved water quality and operational efficiency.
Q: How does the filtration process operate in these systems?
A: The process involves pumping water through filter media using electrically powered components, which trap impurities within the media. Automated controls then initiate backwashing or cleaning cycles as needed.
Q: What steps are involved in the maintenance of electric media filtration systems?
A: Routine maintenance typically includes inspecting electrical components, checking for any blockages or wear in the filter media, and ensuring the automation controls are functioning correctly to guarantee long-term performance.
